Some manufacturers guarantee that the life of gel batteries is 8 to 10 years, and that of lithium batteries is at least 5 years, which is completely exaggerated. In normal use, it takes 3 to 5 years to replace the battery, because the actual capacity of the battery in 3 to 5 years is much lower than the initial capacity, which affects the lighting effect. The price of the replacement battery is not too high and can be purchased from the solar street light manufacturer.
5. Controller.
Generally, the controller has a high level of waterproof and sealing, and there is no problem in normal use for 5 or 6 years. In general, the key to the service life of solar street lights lies in the battery. When purchasing solar street lights, it is recommended to configure a larger battery. The life of the formula battery is its cycle discharge life, the total discharge time is about 400 to 700 times. If the battery capacity is only sufficient for daily discharge, then the battery is easily damaged, but the battery capacity is several times that of daily discharge, which means that there will be a cycle in a few days, greatly increasing the battery life, and the battery will be damaged.
The service life of solar street lights also lies in the usual maintenance. The initial installation should be carried out in strict accordance with the construction standards, try to match the configuration reasonably, increase the capacity of the battery, so as to extend the service life of the solar street light.
